Italy’s Franco Midiri to sing for persons suffering from incurable diseases

Italian singer Franco Midiri will give a charity concert at the National Philharmonic "Serghei Lunchevich” in Chisinau on May 19. After winning the Top Prize at the Sanremo Music Festival with the song “E! Sai che cosa c’è”, the singer commenced a tour as part of which he staged concerts all over Italy, in Romania – in Brasov, Targu Mures, Bacau, Braila, Piatra Neamt, Sibiu, and Iasi, - and will now perform in Chisinau. The proceeds of the concert will go to ensure continuous palliative care services for persons suffering from incurable diseases, at advanced and terminal stages, at the hospice “Angelus”. According to a communiqué from "Angelus”, quoted by Info-Prim Neo, the hospital so far provided palliative care services for more than 400 adults and 45 children.
