Italy published a list of countries divided by areas. All the passengers who want to enter Italy as from March 1 are obliged to present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate, recovery certificate or a negative COVID-19 test result, IPN reports.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, it is accepted the Digital COVID Certificate with EMA-approved vaccines: Comirnaty (Pfizer/BioNTech), Spikevax (Moderna), Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), Janssen Pharmaceutica NV (Johnson&Johnson). The vaccine should have been administered at most nine months before entrance. The booster dose is also accepted.
The recovery certificate should show that at least 11 days and not more than 180 days passed since the infection. The negative PRT-PCR test result is valid for 72 hours, while the rapid antigen test result for 48 hours.
The persons who cannot present one of the given documents will have to self-isolate for five days.
The children under six are exempted from presenting any of the certificates.
The online PLF form should be further completed within 48 hours before landing. As an exception, the paper form is also accepted.
