Italy to Share Experience in Agriculture and Rural Tourism with Moldovan Authorities
Italy declared itself willing, within a project of the European Community, to share their experience in regard to the promotion of agricultural products, the identification of the agricultural products’ quality systems and in the field of rural tourism with the R. Moldova. The Moldovan specialists are to be instructed by Italian experts in the respective fields.
Italy’s partner in the project is the ministry of agriculture and food industry. An Italian delegation had, on Tuesday, September 7, a meeting with the capital city’s administration, considering the fact that Chisinau, which holds 33 suburban localities, also needs development in the agro-alimentary sector.
Moldovan specialists will be instructed within a number of seminars, which will take place in Chisinau, at the end of October. The result of the project would be that the technologies which are to be used in the R. Moldova will ensure the competitiveness of the Moldovan products on the European markets, according to Anselmi Pieromano, chief of the delegation, president of the Italian Friuli Occidentali Mountain County.
The project was elaborated by Italy and Greece, and will also be implemented in Slovenia. According to Anselmi Pieromano, Greece and Italy are already in the European Community, with Slovenia soon to follow, and it is in the R.Moldova’s best interest to come to know the Western markets and their specific. The head of the Italian delegation said that their interest within this project is reciprocal.
