The agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of the Republic of Italy on the recognition of documents of study that was signed on February 23, 2022 was approved by the Government on March 16, IPN reports.

The agreement will ensure the recognition and equating of documents of study obtained in higher education starting with the UNESCO-ISCED 2011 sixth classification level (Bachelor’s or equivalent level) and continuing with the second-cycle Master’s degree.

The agreement was signed in Chisinau by the Minister of Education and Research of Moldova Anatolie Topală and secretary of state of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy Benedetto Della Vedova. This will take effect immediately after the Italian side is informed about the approval of the document by the Government of Moldova.
