Italian investors intend to build golf course, running track and two gyms in Chisinau
Several Italian businessmen plan to invest money in setting up a golf course in Moldova. They already purchased 40 hectares of land, where there will be built the golf course as well as a hotel complex, a running track and two gyms. The costs are estimated at €20-25 million.
The information was made public by the president of the National Olympic Committee of Moldova Nicolae Juravschi at a meeting with Prime Minister Vlad Filat and the Italian investors, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Government.
The Premier said the sport sector needs significant investments, while the Moldovan athletes - good training conditions. For their part, the Italian investors said they will start the construction works as soon as possible and assured they will build a modern sports complex.
