According to a communiqué from the Government, the Italian diplomat said that in Moldova there are all the conditions needed to attract Italian investors and one of the objectives during his tenure will be to assess the investors and to ensure an objective and transparent flow of Italian investments on the Moldovan market.
“The presence of Italian investors in Moldova is welcomed and the Italian Embassy will make sure that all those who want to invest in this country should not pursue personal goals, but offer something instead. In this respect, the Embassy will monitor the work of the Italian economic entities and will strengthen their entrepreneurial capacities,” said Enrico Nunziata.
Vlad Filat said the investors are a priority both for the private sector and for the Government of Moldova. There are 512 Italian companies in Moldova at present. The Premier stressed the importance of finishing the talks between Moldova and Italy on the agreement on the readmission of persons staying illegally and on the agreement on labor migration.
