Snowfall has covered the entire territory of the country. The roadway is wet, and in some areas, it is snow-covered and icy. Road maintenance crews worked throughout the night to keep the roads passable. Snowfall continues, and the State Roads Administration reports that road traffic is ensured under winter conditions, IPN reports.

During the night, 103 special road maintenance vehicles were deployed. Nearly 1,200 tons of technical salt and over 80 tons of anti-slip material were spread both mechanically and manually.

Drivers are advised to proceed with caution and adjust their speed to road conditions.

In the capital, Chisinau City Hall announces that road traffic is proceeding normally, and public transport is running according to the weekend schedule. The "Exdrupo" road maintenance service started spreading anti-slip material on the capital’s streets and suburbs at 20:00, deploying 20 specialized vehicles. Given the weather forecast, additional interventions are being carried out on public transport routes.

The General Directorate for Housing and Urban Development began its intervention at 2:00 across all city sectors, clearing sidewalks and access roads with 60 sweeping and salting machines. Additionally, municipal services have deployed 10 vehicles in parks and squares.
