IT entrepreneur: Active labor force leaves rapidly Moldova

The Government of the Republic of Moldova, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Finance are taking steps aimed at easing the doing of business in Moldova. However, according to IT entrepreneur Veaceslav Kunev, the process is too slow and the active labor force meanwhile leaves Moldova at a high speed, IPN reports.

According to Veaceslav Kunev, owing to the obstacles faced after starting businesses, the young people swiftly give up and look for alternatives outside the country.

“The young people do not struggle. They see no use in enduring when they can go abroad to raise loans at other interest rates and can purchase homes there. We should be the first in a number of areas. But the most ambitious ones leave,” Veaceslav Kunev stated in the talk show “Key Issue” on NTV Moldova channel.

On the other hand, director general of the Organization for the Development of the SME Sector Iulia Costin said it is now much easier to start a business in Moldova.

“Currently, compared with ten years ago, it is much easier to start a business. It’s easy to enter the business sector, but problems appear later. The process of issuing authorizations, licenses has been considerably simplified,” stated Iulia Costin.

She noted that persons who have business ideas, aim to do something and achieve success in what they do don’t leave the country and the state lends a hand to them through a number of programs.
