The state-run communications company “Radicomunicatii” has a new director. Engineer Mihai Iacob was chosen to this post at a public contest, IPN has learned from the ICT Ministry.

Mihail Iacob started work at IS “Radicomunicaţii” in 1998. In 2009 - 2013, he served as head of the cellular telephone division of SA “Moldtelecom”, where he developed the 3G mobile network.

The new director pledged to take measures to optimize and modernize the company.

IS “Radiocomunicatii” is the main company managing television and radio broadcast stations. More than 30 broadcasters now benefit from program broadcasting and transmission services in Moldova and abroad.
