Moldovan athlete Irina Ringaci qualified for the final of the Junior European Wrestling Championships held in Spain, IPN reports.
In the 62 kg weight class, she beat Azerbaijan’s Zhala Aliyeva, Italy’s Morena De Vita and Kateryna Zelenykh of Ukraine. In the final scheduled for this evening, Irina plays Russia’s Maria Lachugina.
In the 55 kg class, Mariana Draguțan ranked fifth. In the match for the bronze medal, she lost to Sezen Belberova of Bulgaria.
