Author of children’s music and poetry Irina Nicolai from Criuleni town launched her second book “Silver Glazed Tunes”. The event included a concert with the participation of children from the Criuleni primary school. Irina Nicolai told Info-Prim Neo that in 2008 she launched her first book of music for children “Music Is My Life”, which included lyrics and tunes composed during her 20 years of pedagogic work. Irina Nicolai said that the children with whom she works daily at the kindergarten and at school are her inspiration. The lyrics and music from the second book are the result of four years’ work. Irina Nicolai added that alongside the book, the launched a CD with 6 songs performed by the children of the Criuleni and a young singer Cristiana. She explained that the CD contained only 6 songs because it was very expensive to record a song in studio. The second book of children’s songs has been published in 1,000 copies and can be found in bookstores.
