Ion Sturza is aware that he will not be voted in Prime Minister and his actions related to the presentation of the candidates for minister and the government program represent a PR campaign. Such statements were made in the talk show “Reply” on Prime TV channel, IPN reports.

Political analyst Victor Gurau considers that Sturza is close to founding a political party and takes the opportunity of being nominated for premiership to conduct a PR campaign. “The nucleus of a political party of the right can be seen in the composition of the so-called Sturza Government. Sturza establishes political PR using taxpayers’ money and his actions usurp the state institutions. Sturza’s meetings with the governor of the Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia Irina Vlah and the leader of the “Our Party” Renato Usatyi represent attempts to attract votes from the left in case of early elections,” he stated.

Analyst Roman Mihaes is convinced that Ion Sturza’s actions are directed from the Kremlin. “Russia is trying to take control of the Moldovan right after the fall of the PLDM. Sturza has been an agent of the Kremlin for many years. If Sturza becomes Prime Minister, Moldova’s European course will be in danger,” he said.

International law expert Vitalie Gamurari said the government program proposed by Ion Sturza does not differ from the previous programs. “It could have been copied, but he had not much time to think up a government program,” he stated.
