The candidate for premiership Ion Sturza will ask for the Parliament’s vote of confidence in a special sitting that starts at 2pm on January 4. Last week, the Socialist MPs announced that they will not take part in the sitting, IPN reports.
On January 3, Ion Sturza presented the candidates for Cabinet member. Eight of the 17 candidates are party members, but are ready to renounce the membership in favor of the post of minister.
The major goal of the Government’s program is to ensure welfare, safety and the quality of the living conditions, especially by developing the economy and facilitating the creation of well-paid jobs, eradicating corruption and ensuring the rule of law, strengthening the capacity to defend the country, ensuring accessible and cost-efficient public services and the social protection of the vulnerable groups of people.
