Ion Paladi and Orchestra “Mugurel” to perform at Christmas Bazaar

The Christmas Bazaar set up on 31 august St in Chisinau will have a special program on Christmas that is celebrated according to the old Julian calendar on January 7, IPN reports.

A first performance will be given on Christmas eve, between 1pm and 4p.m. This will involve the Brass Band of Harbovat village of Anenii Noi district, the ethnic-folkloric group of Basarabeasca and the ethnic-folkloric group of Anenii Noi. Starting at 6pm, a concert will be held by Iurie Sadovnic and the band “Noroc”.

The January 7 afternoon performance will feature the Brass Band of the Border Police, while the evening performance Ion Paladi and the Orchestra “Mugurel”.

At 10am on January 8, children are invited to a performance with circus artists. This will be followed, at 1pm, by recitals by the Brass Band of the Carabineer Troops and the ethnic-folkloric group of Ungheni. The bands “7 Klase” and “Akord” will give a performance starting at 6pm.

Children and their parents, together with relatives and friends, can visit the Christmas Bazaar until January 14, between 10am and 10pm.
