Ion Muruianu to be questioned at parliamentary sitting
The president of the Supreme Court of Justice Ion Muruianu will be quizzed at the Parliament’s sitting next Friday, on February 26. Such a decision was adopted by the members of the Liberal-Democratic coalition on February 19, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Ion Muruianu is to provide explanations over the statements about the press that he made at the general assembly of judges last week. He said then that the mass media are rabid dogs that damage the image of the legal system in Moldova.
After he made the statements, a number of NGOs demanded that Muruianu be discharged from the post.
