The secretary of the Botanica district head’s office Ion Diacon was named district head. An order to this effect was signed by acting mayor of Chisinau Ruslan Codreanu, IPN reports.

The post of secretary of the Botanica district head’s office will be suspended for a period.

The post of head of Botanica district fell vacant on December 3 following the resignation tendered by Oleg Rățoi.

Currently, the posts of district head in Chisinau are held by: Pavel Rusu, at the Centru district head’s office; Sinilga Shkolnik, at the Ciocana district head’s office; Nicolae Balaur, at the Râșcani district head’s office, and Valeiu Nemerenko, at the Buiucani district head’s office.
