Ion Creanga St will not be repaired this year
The Chisinau street Ion Creanga will not be repaired this year even if it was initially included in the list. According to the head of the Public Transport and Communications Division Adrian Boldurescu, as the municipal budget was reduced, Ion Creanga St will be excluded from the repairs plan as it is in a better state than other selected streets, Info-Prim Neo reports.
“Columna St and the section between the streets Mihail Sadoveanu and Mircea cel Batran cannot be removed from the list. That road section is a very good junction that will fluidize traffic in the area. Mircea cel Batran Blvd. cannot be excluded either as the tender contest took place and this street has been under repair for several years,” said Adrian Boldurescu.
He also said that 44 million lei is needed for the partial repair of Mircea cel Batran Blvd., but there was allocated only 34 million lei. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said that this project may be financed integrally only if other repair works are not executed in the municipality.
