By December 20, the Republic of Moldova must adopt the budgets for 2020. On Wednesday, November 27, the Government will approve the budget-fiscal policy and submit it to Parliament. Statements in this regard were made by Prime Minister Ion Chicu at a press conference, IPN reports.
"We cannot afford to enter the new year without approved budgets," stressed Ion Chicu.
The prime minister has said that at the meeting of the government on November 27 there will be also approved previously announced social projects which have already been converted into draft laws to amend the legislation. In addition, the intergovernmental commissions co-chairs on the part of the Republic of Moldova will be appointed.
"We will approve the co-chairs for the Moldovan-Romanian and Moldovan-Ukrainian intergovernmental commissions, we will upgrade the status of these commissions to the level of deputy prime minister, minister of finance and we will proceed in the same manner with other inter-governmental commissions", said Ion Chicu. The prime minister regards intergovernmental activities as very important, "it is a very efficient mechanism of collaboration which, unfortunately, in the last period has been simply abolished".
Wednesday's meeting is scheduled for 15.00.
