By the end of this week, the cabinet of ministers will put in practice a series of actions designed to improve the lives of citizens. The statement was made by Prime Minister Ion Chicu during a meeting with US Ambassador Dereck J. Hogan, IPN reports.

According to a press release of the Government, Ion Chicu expressed the firm commitment of the current cabinet of ministers to deepen the bilateral relation and to intensify the trade and economic cooperation with the American state. "I want to reaffirm our commitments to carry out the action plan envisaged by the Association Agreement with the European Union," mentioned Ion Chicu.

According to the same source, Dereck J. Hogan has reiterated the support of the United States for all the projects that the government will implement for the benefit of the citizens. "I am happy to see you in this new position and I hope that together we will achieve nice and useful things for the Republic of Moldova, especially regarding the promotion of reforms in all areas," stated Dereck J. Hogan.

Today, Ion Chicu has met with the Russian Ambassador in Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, as well.
