Ion Chicu: Lifting of state of emergency does not mean neglect of epidemiological norms

The lifting of the state of emergency on May 15 does not mean neglect of the sanitary-epidemiological norms, Prime Minister Ion Chicu stated after the meeting of the Single Command Center. “We should all realize that the lifting of the state of emergency does not mean elimination of all the sanitary-epidemiological restrictions imposed by the decision of the Commission for Exceptional Situations or, especially, by the decision of the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission,” stated the official, being quoted by IPN.

Premier Chicu said that the quarantine regime in the municipality of Soroca and in Brînzeni village of Edineț district was lifted. On May 11, the quarantine in Glodeni town will also be annulled.

The Commission for Exceptional Situations decided to open the markets, except for those in Bălți and Chisinau, on May 11. The shopping centers remain closed. Also on May 11, the Public Services Agency will extend its services and will also issue passports.

The Premier reminded that the public transcript in Chisinau and Bălti will not run on the weekend.
