Ion Ceban, the PSRM candidate for mayor of the capital, made an alliance offer on behalf of the Socialist CMC group to the newly elected ACUM councilors.

As mayor, Ion Ceban said that he is willing to name two out of four deputy mayors and two out of five pretors on behalf of the ACUM bloc. Additionally, he said that he is willing to concede the CMC chairperson position to the ACUM bloc. "I will collaborate with every CMC councilor, with the exception of those with integrity issues", said Ion Ceban.

The candidate said that he has drafted an initiative to change the organizational chart of the City Hall. He wants to create a department of urban planning, which should be headed by Victor Chironda, and department that will deal with bilateral relations and investment projects, which should be headed by Octavian Țîcu.

Ion Ceban put forward an agenda for the councilors that focuses on the completion of strategic planning documents, on the concept of sustainable development of Chișinău and on the construction and repair of roads and sidewalks. The agenda also targets the development of suburbs, wage increases, kindergarten and school modernization and combating corruption at City Hall.

Ion Ceban said that he will talk to people more and will go to the settlements in order to convince them to vote for him. Additionally, he said that he will participate in all the shows and debates in order to show that he is the "better" candidate.

Ion Ceban and Andrei Năstase proceed to the second round of elections, which will be organized in two weeks.
