"On Sunday, we will decide together the fate of Chișinău for the next four years", said the Socialist Party candidate for the position of mayor of the capital, Ion Ceban. The mayoral hopeful said that he is the only candidate who has put forward real solutions for the issues that the residents of Chișinău face, as well as a vision for the development of the municipality, elaborated together with specialists from all fields.

"In this campaign, I chose to focus on the primordial problems of the municipality, both short and long term, in all areas vital to the municipality: sewerage and aqueduct, kindergartens and schools, roads and sidewalks, roofs and courtyards, playgrounds and sports courts, public transport and traffic, parks and squares, lighting and waste. I know how to professionally manage all these issues, including all the projects needed by the suburbs", said Ion Ceban in a press conference.

Ion Ceban highlighted that his municipality administration program is meant to deal with three fundamental problems, namely the exodus, the primitive and non-competitive economy of Chișinău municipality and the social sector. The candidate added that this election campaign was a difficult one, in which he was attacked by all his opponents, however, he chose to focus on meeting with the people and discussing the issues they are facing and discussing solutions for the municipality.

"I urge you to vote on October 20 to elect the mayor of the capital in the first round. It is doable. This is the only way we can save eight million lei, then invest it in kindergartens, parks, stadiums or assistance programmes for those in need. I assure you that we will carry out all the projects that we have put forward", said the candidate.
