The MP of the Party of Socialists Ion Ceban, in the July 31 sitting of Parliament, said that during this session they found out how thefts of billions of lei from the financial-banking sector were legalized, noting the MPs attending the sitting are to blame for these thefts, IPN reports.
The Socialist MP didn’t hesitate to criticize the Government, including the newly invested Cabinet. According to him, the new executive team speaks about the deplorable situation in the country as if this government had come from the opposition and hadn’t governed the country during the last few years.
The lawmaker came to the rostrum with a lemon, telling the Liberal MPs to ‘drink some sour juice’ as they are too happy that they returned to power and were named ministers and forgot about the promises made in the election campaign.
Ion Ceban announced that he will vacate his seat of MP in favor of the post of Chisinau councilor.
The July 31 sitting of Parliament is the last one of the current session. The MPs will return from vacation in September.
