The group of the Party of Socialists on the Chisinau Municipal Council considers that all the sides involved in the dispute between the Chisinau City Hall and the company “Fastcomtrans”, which carried out repair works at the Chisinau Lyceum “M. Kotsiubinski”, must answer in accordance with the law. The Socialist councilors noted that they will examine the case inside the group and will make the details public later.
Contacted by IPN, the leader of the Socialist group Ion Ceban said that this case was examined at one of the Council’s meetings in February. Then, the Socialist councilors voted for constituting a commission of inquiry into this case. “We think that political pressure could be exerted in this regard,” stated the councilor.
The possessions of the Capital Constructions Division were sequestrated at end-April based on a decision by the Chisinau Appeals Court. A temporary administrator was named to manage this Division, which risks being declared insolvent. The court took such a decision following an application filed by the representative of the creditor SC “Fastcomtrans” SRL concerning the institution of insolvency proceedings against the debtor Capital Constructions Division of the Chisinau City Hall.
