The manager of the national football team of Moldova Ion Caras is expected to leave his post soon. The Coaches Committee of the Football Federation of Moldova gave him a negative grade after the match lost to Montenegro.
Moldova was beaten in Podgorica by 2-0 in the first match of the 2016 UEFA European Championship qualifying rounds.
The coach was unavailable for comment.
Ion Caras has managed the national team for the longest period. The new qualifying campaign is the fourth for Caras. He could be replaced by Alexandru Curteian, who has a good performance as manager of the Under 21 team. The national team plays the next match in Chisinau on October 9, against Austria.
