Ion Caramitru returns to Chisinau after several-year pause

Romanian actor Ion Caramitru, chairman of the Theater Union of Romania, returned to Chisinau after a pause of several years with a recital dedicated to poet Mihai Eminescu. The performance will take place at the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu” on January 17, Info-Prim Neo reports. The recital titled “Longing for Eminescu” is a collage of the poems, prose and philosophy of the great poet, Ion Caramitru said in a meeting with journalists in Chisinau. On the stage, Ion Caramitru will be accompanied by clarinet player Aurelian-Octav Popa. The performance was organized by the Theater Union of Moldova, the Chisinau City Hall and the National Theater “Mihai Eminescu”. It starts at 18.00.
