Investments of 280,000 euros in managing solid waste in Falesti district
The next 2 years, the people from Falesti district will get more information about the adequate management of solid waste through a program for which the European Commission allocated 282,173 euros, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The money will be invested for the people's environmental awareness as to the selective collection of garbage. They will organize round tables, seminars for local officials, companies, NGOs, youth and students, reads a release of the Falesti District Council.
They plan to build 50 platforms for the selective collection of waste, plus 200 de containers, and car.
The project titled “Establishing adequate management of solid waste in Falesti district” aims at improving the management of the solid garbage and at training local officials.
The project will be implemented with the County Council from Iasi, Romania, the town hall of Falesti, and with several NGOs from Moldova and Romania.
