The Prosecutor General’s Office said the investigation into the case of death of Dan Plesca, the eldest son of MP Nae-Simion Plesca, was stopped. Given the evidence collected in this case and the application of the successors of the injured party (the victim’s parents), an order was made to stop the prosecution of Dan’s brother Sorin Plesca, IPN reports.

The tragedy happened in the MP’s apartment in Chisinau in the evening of March 7 this year. It was established that the shot was fired by the victim’s younger brother from a CZ pistol held legally. The victim suffered a serious injury and died on the spot.

Afterward, Sorin Plesca was charged with culpable homicide. When he was questioned by prosecutors, he fully accepted his blame.
