The interurban passenger transport fare from November 1 will be 0.48 lei per km, up 0.10 lei per km, IPN has learned from the Ministry of Transport.
Earlier, the carriers asked raising the fares by 0.20 lei per km. The carriers obtained the right to increase the fares by a decision of the Supreme Court of Justice that obliges the authorities to raise the prices by 52%.
The next time the fares will be reviewed in 2015.
