The Interuniversity Brain-Ring Cup will be held between November 6 and December 5 in Chisinau. The competition organised by the Moldovan Intellectual Games Club in partnership with ASET International and the Young Prime Ministers Club of Moldova will bring together 48 teams representing different universities from Chisinau, Balti and Cahul. Chairman of the Moldovan Intellectual Games Club Marcel Spataru told Info-Prim Neo that the qualifying rounds of the game will take place starting November 6, every Tuesday in the building of the State University Culture House. The final will be held on December 5 in a night club in Chisinau. During the evening the organisers will engage the audience in competitions and arrange a concert featuring student bands. Brain Ring is a dynamic intellectual game, in which two 6-member teams confront each other in answering logic and erudition questions. In September 2007 the Moldovan national team won the Brain Ring World Cup in Azerbaijan’s capital Baku.
