The International Women’s Club of Moldova holds the Winter Charity Bazaar at the exhibitions center Moldexpo on December 10, between 10am and 4pm. The proceeds will go to support projects that have a positive impact on disfavored women and children, IPN reports.

The embassies working in Moldova, craftsmen, international and national organizations and business entities will sell dishes, beverages, works of art, clothes, books and toys at reasonable prices at the bazaar. The event will include a raffle with prizes. A number of 7,000 tickets are on sale.

The funds raised from donations made by participants in the event and proceeds from ticket sales will be directed to five beneficiaries, namely: Association of Premature Babies “Vitae”; Public Association “Copiii Ploii”; Medical-Sanitary Philanthropic Foundation “Angelus Moldova”; Regional Association for Adults’ Education “Upper Prut/Prutul de Sus” of Edinet and Charity Center for Refugees.

At the previous edition of the bazaar, there were sold over 6,000 tickets and collected US$30,000 that went to support vulnerable women and children.
