Entry to Moldova for international observers who will supervise the presidential elections, even if they come from countries classed as a red zone, is permitted. A decision to this effect was taken by the National Extraordinary Public Health Commission on September 7, IPN reports.
The restrictions were removed also for representatives of international organizations, those of foreign governments and for representatives of foreign nongovernmental organizations, foreign electoral experts accredited by the Central Election Commission.
The same decision provides that the entry restrictions are also lifted for foreign journalists accredited as permanent correspondents in Moldova by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration.
These categories of persons will not be obliged to self-isolate for 14 days if they do not have clinical signs of respiratory infections or high fever.
The National Extraordinary Public Health Commission also allowed staging cultural events in the open air by theaters, concert and cinema organizations accredited by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, by obeying the public health measures.
