Chisinau will host the first international economic conference on the “Reconstruction of Ukraine. The role of the Republic of Moldova”. The event that will take place on June 21 will center on the investment opportunities in Moldova and the rebuilding of Ukraine, the role of the Moldova-Ukraine bilateral relations, investment niches and the economic situation in the neighboring country, etc., IPN reports.

The conference is organized by the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Italian-Moldovan Chamber of Commerce, the France-Moldova Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Romanian Investors Association.

The conference is designed to show the common commitment to corporate social responsibility and to the contribution to promoting sustainable economic and social development in the region. A similar event is to be organized later in Romania, Italy and France.

To ensure the smooth running of the conference, a number of Ukrainian organizations were invited to the event, such as the Embassy of Ukraine in Chisinau, the Ukrainian Association of Renewable Energy Sources, the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, UkraineInvest, the Ukrainian-Chinese Business Council, the Association for the Development and Reconstruction of Regions of Ukraine and the Three Seas Initiative (a union of thirteen member states of the European Union located in Central and Eastern Europe and two partner countries:  Ukraine [from 2022] and the Republic of Moldova [from 2023]).  Also, a series of Moldovan institutions were invited to participate, such as the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, the Ministry of Energy, the Investment Agency, the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine, etc.
