The International Children’s Day will be celebrated on June 1 in “Valea Morilor” Park. The Chisinau City Hall, together with the Centru district head’s office, prepared a program of cultural, artistic, sports and educational activities that will start at 11:00 a.m., IPN reports.

The visitors will have the opportunity to see an artistic and entertainment show by the animation club Mikelino Club, a cryo show, a chemical show, the mascots Bear Bruno and Sonic. Creative workshops, plasticine modeling, painting, a masterclass on mosaic paintings will be held with the participation of children from the placement center “Regina Pacis” Foundation. There will also be staged a bikers’ show.

Those interested will participate in a book exhibition, a poetry contest, a writers’ autograph session. The program of event includes darts, chess and checkers competitions and games. There will also be staged a concert involving Vlad Codreanu, Voinovan Georgeta, Dana Markitan, Dina Druta and students from different music studios.

Each child will receive ice cream and balloons, while the participants in competitions will be given presents. The activities will continue until 06:00 p.m.
