Internal Ministry offers help to Tiraspol in investigating the bus blast
A squad of the Technical-Explosive Division within the Technical-Criminality Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is ready to provide the necessary assistance to solve the case of the explosion in Tiraspol.
According to MAI Press Center, the group is ready to leave for Tiraspol in order to provide the necessary technical assistance.
At the same time, the region’s news agencies, referring to the so-called security ministry of Transnistria, announce the arrival of a squad of the Russian Federation’s FSB intelligence service, which are to investigate the case.
Previously, MAI has offered its assistance in investigating the explosion occurred on July 6, in a minibus in Tiraspol, but the Transnistrian authorities refused Chisinau’s help.
On Sunday, August 13, at 13:55, in Tiraspol city, near the “Pricernomorie” shopping mall, in the micro-district Kolkotovaia Balka, a blast occurred in a trolleybus, resulting in 3 casualties. Preliminary investigations show that the explosion was due to a RGD-5 grenade.
