The minibus route no. 161 “Codru district – Columna Street” has been cancelled, and the autobus route no. 11 has been modified via an ordinance of the interim mayor of Chisinau Vasile Ursu. According to the Public Relations Department of the City Hall, the 161 minibus route was cancelled and the 11 autobus route “Tighina Street – Dimitrie Cantemir Street” was modified “with intentions to improve the quality of the public transportation”. The interim mayor made this decision after the residents of Ialoveni Street forwarded a petition and the General Department of Public Transportation presented an informative note. The passengers that traveled by autobus no. 11 will travel on the route Tighina Street - Stefan cel Mare Boulevard - Mt. Banulescu-Bodoni Street - Mateevici Street - Vasile Alecsandri Street - Hancesti highway - Ialoveni Street, Dimo Street. In the vicinity of Durlesti, the autobus on this route will travel of the Cartus, Alexandru cel Bun, Stefan Voda, Tudor Vladimirescu Streets, and in Chisinau – on Vasile Lupu, Piata Constitutiei, Ion Creanga Streets and the Dimitrie Cantemir square. On the back way – until Ialoveni Street on the mentioned route and following on Spicului Street, Hancesti highway, Miorita, Gh. Asachi, Pan Halippa, Ismail, Alexandru cel Bun, Tighina Streets.
