Interest for tax-payers stimulation contest declines
5,800 envelopes with receipts have been sent for the 4th edition of the tax-payers stimulation contest unfolded by the State Tax Service. They sent 6,514 envelopes for the third edition and 9,461 for the second edition. Officials from the Principle Tax State Inspectorate explain the wane by the vacation period, and by the fact that the contest turns from a novelty to an efficient tool to cooperate with tax-payers, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Of those 5,800 envelopes for edition 4, 222 were rejected for not having the label 'for the contest' written on them.
The first prize of 25,000 lei went to Taisia Volojanina from Chisinau. The two second position awards, worth 15,000 lei, went to Tatiana Petrache and Aurica Malai, both from Chisinau.
5 position 3 awards, worth 5,000 lei, went to Svetlana Panchioha, Silvia Tepordei, Nadejda Berzoi,Vitalie Druchi, from Chisinau and Aliona Matei from Anenii Noi.
The Inspectorate also appointed the winners of those 10 prizes of 1,000 lei and 20 prizes of 500 lei. All in all, 38 awards were granted in amount of 100,000 lei.
Procopie Duca, a deputy head of the Tax Inspectorate, says 23,000 citizens attended those 4 editions of the contest. It pursues to stimulate tax-payers to ask for receipts for the goods and service they purchase, making retailers work transparently, pass all the operations through the cash register and to avoid double book-keeping.
