The healthcare facilities and pharmacies covered by the mandatory health insurance system could be seen by accessing the link map.cnam.md. The interactive map was launched by the National Health Insurance Company on December 26, IPN reports.
The map is divided into territorial-administrative units and the citizens could access each district or municipality apart so as to see the list of contracted institutions and to look for a particular provider.
The application contains such information as the name, address, telephone numbers of providers and the types of medical assistance offered by the healthcare providers.
In 2019, the National Health Insurance Company contracted 452 healthcare facilities and 228 pharmacies and local offices.
