The minibus termini in Chisinau will be verified. Acting head of the Public Transport and Communications Division Igor Gamretski Monday said the inspections are initiated following multiple complaints about the insanitary conditions in which the drivers work.

“For the route administrators not to argue that they are strained, we inform them beforehand that they have a period of 10-15 days to solve the existing problems. Otherwise, they will be issued with prescriptions and we will propose terminating the contracts signed by the municipality with them,” stated Igor Gamretski.

He also said that serious problems have been until now identified at 5-6 termini. If the administrators are unable to deal with them independently, they can seek help from the municipal authorities.
