The national economic entities, especially those working in central Chisinau, commit taxl frauds of millions of lei, but the state is co-interested and does nothing to combat this phenomenon, the leader of the Initiative Group of Producers Party of Moldova Andrei Donica said, quoted by Info-Prim Neo. In a news conference, Andrei Donica said Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Minister of Finance Veaceslav Negruta and the head of the State Main Tax Inspectorate Nicolae Platon encourage tax evasion. “Early in November, I submitted an application to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy and the State Main Tax Inspectorate, asking for information about the absence of cash registers in booths. I received an answer only from the State Main Tax Inspectorate. It was a vague answer. The relevant bodies should take steps to combat this phenomenon, but they do nothing,” Andrei Donica said. The leader of the Initiative Group of Producers Party of Moldova believes fines of 5,000 lei should be imposed on those who do not have cash registers. “Everyone sells illegally today. I examined all the selling places at the market and saw no cash register,” said Andrei Donica. He presented videos where sellers say the booths belong to certain functionaries. The Initiative Group of Producers Party demands dismissing Nicolae Platon and pledges to continue investigating the violations committed in the market. Andrei Donica also criticized the Government Decision to remove the citrus fruit from the list of goods the profit margin on which is regulated. “Before the New Year, the citrus fruit is in demand and the companies can significantly increase prices,” Donica stated. The Producers Party of Moldova is being founded. The party’s name is being registered with the Ministry of Justice.
