Five battery-powered trolleybuses as of September 10 will run on route No. 32 that connects 31 august St of Chisinau and Stăuceni commune. The trolleybuses were assembled in Chișinău and are outfitted with LED lighting system, air conditioning and low floor, IPN reports.

Chișinău Electric Transport Company director Denis Chernyi said the units of transport could travel without electric power for up to 20 km.

Trolleybuses No. 32 will run from 6am until 10:30pm, with an interval of 20 minutes.

Also from today, two trolleybuses will run on route No. 33 that ensures connection between the State Agrarian University and Bariera Sculeni St. The units of transport were assembled in Chișinău several years ago and ran on another route until now.

The Electric Transport Company is assembling five more trolleybuses that are to be put on routes in two months.
