Inhabitants of four Moldovan villages to have free access to left side of Nistru

The residents of Cremenciug, Chitcai, Merenesti and Zahorna villages that are situated on the right bank of the Nistru will have free access to the left bank as of January 1, 2017. These will pass by presenting the documents showing the domicile. A decision to this effect was taken by the Transnistrian administration as a result of multiple requests from people, the news agency Novosti PMR says on its website, quoted by IPN.

The passing to the beach in Dubasari and the territory of the local canoeing camp will continue to be based on special permits that are issued free by the town’s administration. The permits obtained in 2016 are valid until February 1, 2017.

In 2016 there were issued 149 permits for access to the beach, especially to athletes and workers from the region.
