After two years of testing, the National Road Transport Agency has launched the Information System “Transport e-Authorization”. Road transport operators and business entities that perform activities related to road transport can use this system for a number of electronic services, IPN reports.
The road transport operators can make use of registration in and removal from the Register of Road Transport Operators and can ask for an extract and can also ask to be registered in or struck off the State Register of Enterprises that perform road transport activities on their own. They can also ask for single road haulage permits and road carnets and can submit a report on the use of CEMT permits.
The road transport operators can apply for road transport permits in the international passenger transportation system for occasional and pendular services, permits for regular routes and INTERBUS carnets. They can also submit a report on the use of the INTERBUS carnet and can apply for a record book.
The National Road Transport Agency, in partnership with the USAID Moldova Structural Reform Program, worked out a set of digital guidebooks for training transport operators and business entities how to use the Information System “Transport e-Authorization”.
