Information Services heads talk cooperation in Sofia
The head of the Security and Information Service of Moldova Gheorghe Mihai had an official meeting with the President of Bulgaria Gheorghi Pirvanov on the sidelines of the sixth meeting of the Heads of the Information Services of Bulgaria, Moldova, Romania, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. The meeting themed “Ensuing Energy Security” was held in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia between November 9 and 11, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting Moldova's Security and Information Service.
The meeting discussed subjects concerning ensuring of security in Southeastern Europe and development of cooperation in combating organized cross-border crime, separatism, extremism, terrorism, illegal migration, drug trafficking, etc.
According to the quoted source, Moldova's participation in the five-sided meeting in Sofia was aimed at strengthening the multilateral cooperation with the partner security bodies in preventing and combating risks and threats to the national security of the Black Sea Basin states.
