As many as 300 young people in July will go from village to village to inform the people about the shortest path to the European Union. The Civic Movement “Moldova’s Young People” will launch the caravan in the square of the National Opera House on July 1 at 8am, IPN repots, quoting a communiqué of the organization.
With the slogan “The future is bright”, the young people will inform the people from rural areas about the benefits they can enjoy if Moldova swifter comes closer to Romania. According to them, this is the rapid way to European integration. The people will also receive informative brochures and tricolor ribbons.
During the first five days, the bus with “Moldova’s Young People” will travel through southern Moldova, up to Cahul. The next trips will be to Stefan Voda, Ungheni, Briceni, Soroca, and Rezina. The bus will stop in all the settlements from the itinerary.
The young people will hold discussions, but will also donate Romanian books, will help clean the wells and monuments and will also become involved in other social activities.
“By the power of the own example, we will show the people that we can improve things around. This is what we start with. We will try to restore hope for a better life in the families of the people with whom we will speak. We, the young people, are the promoters of the sincere and viable development of our nation,” said Dinu Plangau, head of the Civic Movement “Moldova’s Young People”
