Information campaign about EU and its relations with Moldova

The Youth Organization of the Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) is launching the campaign “We Bring Europe at Home” to inform the population how the European Union was founded and about the values, principles, culture and institutions of the EU, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the party. During May 10-15, young Liberal Democrats will travel to districts and will show films about the European Union and eurozone, will hold public debates and roundtable meetings on the relations between Moldova and the EU, financing programs, social and education policies. Information points about the Convention on Small-Scale Border Traffic and its benefits will be inaugurated at the local offices of the PLDM as part of the activities held between May 10 and 15. A survey titled “Europe: what we expect, what we offer” will be carried out to find out what the citizens expect from Moldova's integration into the EU and what Moldova can give to the European community. The results of the campaign will be made public on Europe Day that is celebrated in Moldova on May 15.
