A criminal case was started against a speeding driver aged 37. The man was driving at a speed of 195 km per hour and was under the influence. He didn’t have a diver’s license. Inside the car the police found a firearm, IPN reports.

According to the National Patrolling Inspectorate, the driver was followed by a police car as he refused to stop. He was caught at the entrance to Chisinau. The man is from Cruzesti. He had a Kalashnikov gun, two gas aerosols and cartridges on the backseat. There was also his woman partner aged 21 in the car.

The inebriated drivers so far this year caused 93 accidents that resulted in 25 deaths.
