The goal of the contest was to stimulate and to promote within the mass-media in Moldova and Romania a professional and diversified approach towards the bilateral relationship of the two countries in various fields. The jury of the contest was formed by journalists and university professors. According to the president of API, Petru Macovei, the project entitled “New dimensions for the collaboration of journalists from Moldova and Romania” is taking place already the third year in a row. The first time, the project was financed by the German Government, whereas in the last two years it has been financed by the Romanian Government. During the three years, dozens of journalists from Moldova have undergone professional internships at Romanian newspapers, radio and TV posts and vice versa. Thanks to these internships, many Moldovan journalists became reporters in Moldova on informational media from Romania.
