Independent Journalism Center provides training for Transnistrian schools

60 students and 10 teachers from schools in the Transnistrian region are participate in a series of trainings where they learn how to create a school’s blog and edit texts to improve visibility of their schools' activities. The project is implemented by the Independent Journalism Center and its partners, Info-Prim Neo reports. How to create a blog, how to update it and manage the comments sections – these are just a few of the subjects discussed in the trainings, which took place in Tiraspol on September 29 and 30. The students have laid out their plans for the blog’s look and content and introduced section such as: school uniform, school program, the top students and teachers, the school’s history. The blogs will also have sections dedicated to news concerning the community that they represent. The project is implemented in partnership with the Tiraspol-based NGOs “Stels Terra” and the “Media Center”, with the support of the “Support for Confidence-Building Measures” Program, financed by the EU and co-financed and implemented by the UNDP.
