Indebted persons from private residential sector and companies will remain without water

The economic entities and consumers from the private residential sector that have debts for water will be disconnected from the water supply. The consumers from apartment buildings still have time to settle the debts as the water supplier will resume the disconnections after the dog days, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from SA Apa-Canal Chisinau (ACC). The supplier disconnects by 3-4 end-users daily. A family living on Kogalniceanu St, which have debts of almost 20,000 lei, reacted violently when employees of ACC came to cut them off. The police were called to intervene. “It is a rather unpleasant situation, but we can make them pay the bills only this way,” said the company’s engineer Iurie Covalciuc. According to him, the family did not pay the water bills for one year and a half and there were made two attempts to disconnect them from the supply, but they prevented the employees of ACC from doing it. Now that they were disconnected with the help of the police, they will make effort to pay the debt. The list of those that are disconnected from the water supply increases daily. It is available on the water supplier’s website www.acc.md. The company’s administration calls on all the consumers to pay the water bills on time.
